Organizer:
Czech ARDF Association on behalf of Czech Radio Club (CRC).
Venue:
Tři Studně (altitude 720 m) is a commune nearby Nové Město na Moravě, where world cups in cross–country ski, biathlon, and mountain bike take place annually. This area attracts tourists as well as active sportsmen. This region occupies high, undulating  territory in the middle of the Czech Republic between the two largest Czech cities – Prague and Brno. This wonderful country is characterized by a mosaic of forests, grazing land, meadows, and lakes.
 
Event center:
Hotel Horník, Tři studně, (49°36’24.141”N, 16°2’4.599”E).
 
Directions:
The commune of Tři Studně is located about 40 km away from Prague–Brno highway, the distance from Prague is about 180 km, from Brno about 90 km, from Vienna about 220 km. The nearest international airports are in Prague and Vienna.
Accommodation:
Hotel type (in two hotels about 800 m apart), 2–4 bed rooms. Full board (same menu for both localities): buffet-type breakfasts, lunch packets (Thu, Sat) or hot lunches (Wed, Fri), and hot dinners. Slippers are required in both hotels.

Jury & team leaders meetings:
At the first Jury meeting, starting lists for all competitions will be drawn. However, the nomination of particular sportsmen of each team will be collected at the Jury meeting on the day preceding the competition. At the team leaders meetings, info and the nominal starting list for the next day competition and the latest results will be distributed.
 
Open sprint competition:
This is supposed to be full-scope event at the event center — a show competition for media, trainers, officials, visitors etc. Everyone who comes to start will be allowed to run.
 
Competition rules:
Rules for Championships in Amateur Radio Direction Finding for IARU Region 1 apply:
Part A – Organisation, version 2.8 (valid since 2009),
Part B – Competition, version 2.11 (valid since 2013) – includes rules for Sprint.
 
Maps:
144 MHz: IOF standard, size A4, 1:15 000, contour interval 5 m, status: spring 2013. Sprint 3.5 MHz: IOF standard, size A4, 1:5 000, contour interval 5 m, status: spring 2013. 3.5 MHz: IOF standard, size A4, 1:15 000, contour interval 5 m, status: spring 2013.
 
Embargoed areas:
Hereby we publish two specific restricted areas (see maps below, click for better resolution). From now on, we declare for all those interested to start at the EAYC and other potential team members an absolute prohibition from entering these defined areas, with an exception for arrival to event center and a training area. Violation of the ban will result in non-admission of the competitor and/or team to start. In order to maintain fairness, this prohibition applies also to potential viewers.
 
Training:
Training for both bands will be arranged on the day of arrival. After the first competition, sprint training (full scope model competition) will take place in the event center.
Marking device:
SportIdent system will be used. SI card numbers will be collected in the entry form. For those who do not have any in their possession, SI card will be provided. More information on http://www.sportident.com.
Insurance & Medical Care:
First aid facility will be available at the finish areas for all competitions. No cost to the participant applies for on-site minor treatment; however the cost for ambulance transportation, emergency department visits, and clinic visits will be the participant’s responsibility. Thus, we recommend you to arrange an insurance covering such expenses.
 
Transport during championship:
Bulk transport (buses) to start and from (to) finish areas will be arranged for all competitors and team officials. Visitors are allowed at the finish area only. They will be transported separately by bus or can travel on their own. Location of the finish area will be announced in advance.

For those, travelling by their own car/bus, we strongly recommend to check the directions of the trip right before departure on http://www.dopravniinfo.cz/. We must warn you that on the Czech motorways and expressways personal cars below 3.5 tons need to have the highway sticker (see http://www.motorway.cz/ for details). The sticker could be bought at the borders. Freight cars and buses over 3.5 toms are subject to electronic toll (for more info check http://www.mytocz.eu/).
